NIUL. Niul was a governor in Egypt. [CHART A3], [CHART A40].
Son of PHOENIUSA FARSAIDH.
After Fenius Farsa returned to Scythia, Niul remained at Aothena for some time, teaching languages and the sciences. News of his great learning reached Pharaoh, the King of Egypt, who invited him to come and live in Campus Cyrunt, near the Red Sea. Niul thus went from Babylonia to Egypt to set up a school of languages on the Red sea.
Niul employed another learned man, Gaodhal (Gael), son of Ethor, to refine and adorn his language, called Bearia Tobbai. This language became known as Gaodhilg (or Gaelic), after Gaodhal.
Niul became a governor in Egypt.
Pharaoh also gave Niul his daughter Scota in marriage.
Scota gave birth to Gaedheal (Gaodhal) (after who Gaelic is named), and they named him after Gaodhal the linguist. (S3). Gaedheal migrated to Ireland with his kindred and named his settlement after his mother's name, later the name was changed to Scotland. (S2).
Niul also named his eldest son Gaodhal
