Patrick Graham of Kincardine, Earl of Strathearn
Born on 10 November 1382 at Kincardine, Montrose, Angus, Scotland; son of (Sir) Patrick Graham and Egidia Stewart. (S1).
He married Euphemia Stewart, daughter of Sir David Stewart, Earl of Strathearn & Caithness and Beatrice Lindsay, before 24 August 1406. (S1).
In right of his wife, Graham became Earl of Strathearn, and also brought himself and his descendants into the great struggle, in which the children by King Robertís second marriage claimed the crown on the pretext that the Kingís first marriage to Elizabeth Mure of Rowallan had not been a lawful one. (S1).
He died on 10 August 1412-1413 at the Battle of Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. Sir Patrick Graham of Dundaff and Kilpont was killed by his brother-in-law Sir John Drummond of Concraig. (S1).
