Conaire I Mor mac Etersceoil and Eropeia ingen Cormac

HUSBAND:
Conaire I Mor mac Etersceoil. 97th Monarch of Ireland.
Son of Eterscél Mór mac Eoghan and Mess Buachalla ingen Echach. King of Ireland. (S1).

His father, Eterscel, was killed by Nuadha Neacht about 111 BC. Conaire killed Nuadha Neacht, and became king of Ireland about 110 BC in Tara, Ireland. (S1).

He married Eropeia ingen Cormac. (S1).

Tha Annals of the Four Masters says: "It was in the reign of Conaire that the sea annually cast its produce ashore, at Inbhear Colptha. Great abundance of nuts were annually found upon the Boinn Boyne and the Buais during his time. The cattle were without keepers in Ireland in his reign, on account of the greatness of the peace and concord. His reign was not thunder producing or stormy, for the wind did not take a hair off the cattle from the middle of Autumn to the middle of Spring. Little but the trees bent from the greatness of their fruit during his time." (S1).

He died in (32BC-S1)(39BC-S1)(aabout 40BC-S1) in Bruighean Da Dhearg,Ireland.; when he was murdered by insurgents. (S1).

[Note: Conaire is said to have died about 40BC, or shortly afterward, but his son Caprie is said to have been born about 20AD, or 60 years later. Obviously, this doesn't work. Are these dates incorrect, or was there a generation or two inbetween?].

WIFE:
Eropeia ingen Cormac. (Eropeia)(Eropia)(Europia)(Europa).
Born about 35BC; daughter of Cormac mac Dothain. (S2).

She died in Caledonia. (S2).

CHILDREN of Conaire I Mor mac Etersceoil and Eropeia ingen Cormac:
  1. Admoir mac Conaire. (Admor).
  2. Cairpre Finn Mor mac Conaire ui Eremoin. (20AD-71AD).
