CENNEIDIG. (Cennetig, Kennedy). Prince of the Dalcassians.
Son of LORCAN. The sons of Cennetig took the lead against the Viking invaders in the south.

CHILDREN
  1. Mathgamain. Fought the Viking invaders in the south of Ireland. He defeated the Limerick Gaill (Vikings) in 967 and soon afterwards established himself as king of Munster.
  2. BRIAN BORU.
