Of Asch (As), Asch, Czechoslovakia. There are several BLOSIN families surrounding Asch. They use various spellings of the name: BLOSIN (as used in our family records), but also BLOSS, BLOSSIN, PLOSS, and PLOSSIN. One of these was the family of Michael PLOSS, who received 5 florins for damages inflicted on his property during the Seven Year War.
On 31 October 1782 a list was made of the inhabitants of Asch who received firewood from the government forest. The name of Martin PLOSS is among those on the list.

- Johanna Christina BLOSIN. Born about 1750 at Asch (As), Asch, Czechoslovakia. [Asch was the name used formerly by the Germanic people, As or Az is the spelling used by the Czech peoples]. She married Johann Gottlieb BETHSOLD on 22 February 1776 at Lengenfeld, Kreis Zwickau, Saxony, Germany. She probably died in Lengenfeld, Kreis Zwickau, Saxony, Germany.
